Note: The codes are compiled from multiple sources, so only a subset will be compatible with your specific remote model.
Code Entry Instructions
- Select the appropriate code version for your remote model. If unsure, browse each option in the dropdown list and verify which one includes your model number.
- Once you find the code version, select the device type from the next drop down menu.
- Select your device brand from the next dropdown menu. The corresponding GE remote control codes will be displayed instantly. Note them for reference.
- To set up your remote, press and hold the Setup button until the red LED turns on.
- Press the appropriate device button (e.g., TV, DVD, AUD).
- Enter the first code using the number keypad. The LED will turn off if it’s a valid code. If not, it will blink a few times.
- Test the remote by pressing various buttons to ensure proper functionality. If it doesn’t work correctly, repeat steps 4–7 using the next code listed for your brand.
Can’t Find your Device or Brand?
If your device or brand is not available in the code lookup tool, use other methods such as manual code search or auto code search to program your GE universal remote.
