Code Entry Instructions

  1. Press and hold the MAGIC key until the LED below the current device mode turns on and stay lit.
  2. Press the DEVICES or MODE key repeatedly until the LED for your preferred device stays on.
  3. Enter a code listed for your brand. The LED will blink twice and turn off.
  4. Aim the remote at your device and press the POWER button. If your device turns off, your remote is programmed. If not, repeat the steps with the next code listed for your brand.

How to Program One For All Universal Remote Controls

To program your One For All universal remote, follow the steps corresponding to your remote series.

🔢 Smart Control, Evolve, and Essence Series
  1. Turn on the device you wish to operate with your One For All remote.
  2. Press the SETUP or MAGIC button until the LED under the current device (e.g., TV, STB, etc.) blink twice.
  3. Press the DEVICES or MODE button repeatedly until the LED for the device turns on. (Skip this step if you have a single-device remote like Evolve TV, Contour TV, or Essential TV)
  4. Enter the code listed for your device brand. If the correct code is entered, the LED will blink twice and turn off.
  5. Test the remote by pressing the POWER button. If your device turns off, your remote is ready to use. If not, repeat the steps 2-5 using the next code listed for your device. Once you find a working code, test other buttons too.
🔢 Contour, Slim Line, Big Button, OFA 8, EazyClean and Essential Series
  1. Switch on your device manually.
  2. Select the device button (e.g. TV) corresponding to the device you want to control. (Skip this step for single-device remotes like Contour TV or Essential TV).
  3. Press and hold down the SETUP or MAGIC button for about 3 seconds until the LED blinks twice.
  4. Enter your 4-digit device code using the number keys (e.g. 2051 for Samsung TV). The LED will blink twice after entering the last digit.
  5. Point the remote at your device and press the POWER button. If your device switches off, you have programmed it successfully. If not, repeat the steps 2-5 with the next code available for your brand.
🔢 Simple TV and Simple 2
  1. Switch on your device and make sure it is not on standby.
  2. Simultaneously press and hold (for ~3 seconds) the Red (🔴) and Blue (🔵) buttons for TV or Green (🟢) and Yellow (🟡) buttons for digital TV receivers (Cable, Satellite, Set-Top-Box, Freeview or all Sky). The indicator LED will blink twice.
  3. Enter the 4-digit code for your device.
  4. Aim the remote at your device and press the POWER button. If your device turns off, your remote is programmed and ready to use. If not, repeat the steps 2-4 with the next code available for your brand.
🔢 Simple 3 and Simple 4
  1. Power on the device you want to control and make sure it's not on standby.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button for 3 seconds. The indicator LED will blink twice.
  3. Select the device button (e.g. TV) for the device type you wish to operate.
  4. Enter a 4-digit code for your brand. The LED will blink twice.
  5. Aim the remote at your device and press the POWER button. If your device turns off, your remote is programmed and ready to use. If not, repeat the steps 2-5 with the next code available for your brand.
🔢 TV Zapper Remote

Since the remote does not have number keys, programming it is a bit different. You can enter the code using power, volume and channel keys.

  1. Make sure the device is powered on and not in standby mode.
  2. Enter Setup mode.
    • For TV: Hold the TV Power and STB Power buttons.
    • For STB: Hold Volume + and Volume –.
    • For Audio Device: Hold Channel + and Channel –.
  3. Enter the 5-digit code using the Power, Volume, and Channel keys to represent the digits as follows:
    • TV Power = 1
    • STB Power = 2
    • Volume Up = 3
    • Channel Up = 4
    • Volume Down = 5
    • Channel Down = 6
    • Example: For the code 23415, press STB Power (2)Volume Up (3)Channel Up (4)TV Power (1)Volume Down (5).
  4. Aim the remote at the device and press the Power button. If the device turns off, your remote is ready to use. If not, repeat the steps with the next code listed for your brand.

Note: If you have already programmed for a Set Top Box and you are now programming for Audio as well, press the Mute button in step 4.

🔢 Zapper+ Remote
  1. Make sure the device is powered on and not in standby mode.
  2. Enter Setup mode.
    • For TV: Hold the TV Power and STB Power buttons until the LED blinks twice.
    • For STB: Hold the Volume+ and Channel+ buttons until the LED blinks twice.
    • For Audio: Hold the Volume- and Channel- buttons until the LED blinks twice.
  3. Enter the 4-digit code for your brand. The LED will blink twice.
  4. Aim the remote at the device and press the Power button. If the device turns off, your remote is ready to use. If not, repeat the steps with the next code listed for your brand.

Note: If you have already programmed for a Set Top Box and you are now programming for Audio as well, press the Mute button in step 4.

🔢 Streamer Remote
  1. Turn on the device. Ensure the device you’re setting up is powered on (not on standby), and aim the remote at it.
  2. Enter the Setup mode.
    • Use the appropriate button combination until the LED under the ring blinks twice:
      • TV: Hold TV Power + Back (Yellow LED)
      • Streamer: Hold Streamer Power + Home (Red LED)
      • Audio Device: Hold Volume + and Volume – (Green LED)
  3. Enter the code:
    • Each brand has a 5-digit code using the following buttons:
      • TV Power = 1
      • Streamer Power = 2
      • Back (←) = 3
      • Home (⌂) = 4
      • Replay (⟲) = 5
      • Options (*) = 6
    • For example, to enter 23161, press Streamer Power (2), Back (3), TV Power (1), Options (6), TV Power (1)
    • The green LED will blink twice when the code is entered correctly.
  4. Press the Power (or Mute) button. If the device responds, the setup is complete. If not, try the next code in the list.
