How to Program Spectrum Remote with Codes?

Press and Hold the MENU and OK Buttons Simultaneously
Release the buttons when the INPUT button blinks twice.

Enter the 5-Digit Code for Your Device
The INPUT button will blink twice.

Test the Volume and Power Functions
Your remote setup is complete if it responds correctly. Repeat the steps with the next code for your brand if it does not.

Turn on the Device You Want to Operate
Make sure it is not on standby mode.

Press and Release the Device Button
The button corresponds to the device you want to control such as, TV, DVD, SAT, etc.

Press and Hold the SETUP Button
Release the button when the selected device button blinks twice.

Enter the First -Digit Code for Your Device
Use the number button to enter the code. The device button will blink twice if the code is accepted.

Test the Remote Buttons
Press the POWER button and check whether the TV turns off if you are setting up a TV, or press the PLAY button and check whether playback starts if you are setting up a DVD player. Repeat the steps using the next code if the device does not respond correctly.

Turn on the Equipment You Want to Control
For example, TV, DVD, soundbar, set-top box, etc.

Press the Device Button and OK/SEL Button Simultaneously
Press the OK or SEL button, depending on which one is available on your remote model. The corresponding device LED will light up.

Enter the 3-Digit Setup Code for Your Device
Try each three-digit code listed for your brand one at a time until your equipment turns off, if multiple codes are listed.

Press the Device Button to Save the Code
Press the same device button you pressed in Step 2. The LED will blink twice to confirm the code is saved.
